This carefully blended substrate is designed to closely replicate natural conditions, allowing invertebrates to dig, burrow and create stable tunnel systems without the risk of collapse when kept appropriately moist.

The structure of the bedding allows it to retain moisture while still remaining breathable, helping to maintain humidity levels within the enclosure while supporting the natural behaviours of your animals.

Ideal for species such as tarantulas, scorpions and millipedes, this substrate provides a stable and functional base for both naturalistic and bioactive-style setups.

For more varied and natural enclosure setups, this bedding can be combined with other substrates to create different textures and humidity zones within the enclosure.

Directions for Use

Spread substrate evenly across the enclosure base, ensuring a depth of approximately 2″ (5cm) for burrowing species. For non-burrowing species, use as a top layer and replenish as needed. Avoid overfilling when using underfloor heating. Spot clean regularly and replace as required.
