As this is a completely natural product, we recommend preparing cork bark before placing it into your enclosure.

• Brush away any loose natural debris
• Either bake at a low temperature or rinse/soak in hot water
• Allow the cork to dry fully before use
• Ensure the cork is completely cool and dry before introducing to your enclosure

This helps remove dust and any loose natural material while preparing the cork for safe enclosure use.
