These Sky Hide Rails from HerpXotics are an innovative way of creating hides for arboreal and semi-arboreal reptiles, most notably snakes. The strong plastic rails come with predrilled holes for installing to the roof, they can also be attached using reptile-safe silicon.
The rail design means a plastic hide can then be slid in, but only from one side to prevent it sliding out the back. The plastic hides are installed inverted and can be filled with substrate like moss, or coir to create an area of high humidity, or left empty. These plastic hides are easy to clean and great for sterile, quarantine environments and the elevated nature of these hides allows the full volume of the enclosure to be used. Perfect for arboreal species such as Amazon Tree Boas and Mangrove Snakes which would hide in tree hollows in nature.
HerpXotics Sky Rails are available in three different sizes; Small, Medium and Large.
