The LABP Black Plastic Humid Hide is a innovative new design that creates a localised area of high humidity, perfect for many species of Reptile.
These humidity hides have a special, easily-opened compartment in the top that contains two sponges in the small and four sponges in the medium hides. The sponge is kept separate from the animal by a plastic grill that allows the water and humidity to pass through, but prevents the animal coming into contact with it. This helps keep it clean and free of damage.
For initial use soak the sponges in water and then just add water to the sponges as needed, usually every 3-5 days, and your reptile will have a secure, humid hiding area. Perfect for many desert gecko species, like leopard geckos and small snakes which require high humidity during shedding.
The dark black colour blends in to many setups and creates a dark area to help make shy animals feel safe and secure. These plastic caves are lightweight and tough as they are made from strong polypropylene plastic. Their smooth design is easy to clean and disinfect, with no cracks or ridges to trap dirt, parasites and bacteria.
