F10SCXD Veterinary Disinfectant/Cleanser has the same broad spectrum of kill as F10SC Veterinary Disinfectant but with added detergent to provide a ‘one-step’ product for light duty cleaning and disinfection in routine hygiene applications. It is a soapy liquid with a slight pine fragrance and a green appearance.

At working dilutions it is non-corrosive, non-tainting and non-irritating, and is also chlorine- and aldehyde-free.

Available in 200ml.

Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

What is F10SCXD used for?

  • Effective cleansing whilst reducing the microbial load
  • Cleaning and disinfection of: Vivariums, tanks, RUBs, tubs, racks, floors; walls; tiles; kennels/cages; food and drink bowls; bedding; tables and basins

The recommended dilution rates of F10SCXD

  • General disinfection at 1:500 (2ml in 1 litre)
  • High level disinfection against bacteria, fungi and most viruses (including coronavirus) at 1:250 (4ml to 1 litre)
  • For use against the most resistant viruses such as Parvovirus or PBFD at 1:125 (8ml in 1 litre)

These dilution rates mean that F10SCXD is one of the most cost-effective disinfectant ranges on the market.

How to use F10SCXD

  • Clear away any debris, and rinse with water
  • Add the required amount of F10SCXD to 1 litre of water – i.e. to create a dilution rate of 1:250 add 4ml*
  • Spray or wash the surfaces/object using the solution
  • Due to the cleaning detergent contained in F10SCXD, any food bowls or instruments that are to come in close contact with animals should be rinsed with clean water to ensure no soap residue is left
  • Once cleaned, spraying with F10SC or F10 Ready to Use solution, and then allowing to air dry, will ensure continued disinfection

* 1:250 is recommended for efficiency against most pathogens. If more resistant viruses are known to be present, use at 1:125 (8ml/litre). For general disinfection use at 1:500 (2ml/litre).
