Providing a high-fibre diet is essential for tortoise health. Meadow Cobs are produced from carefully selected meadow plants that are allowed to grow and mature naturally before harvesting, resulting in a nutritionally rich and fibre-dense food source.
These cobs contain no added vitamins or minerals, making them ideal for use alongside an already balanced diet. They can be safely combined with fresh greens and supplements without risking nutritional imbalance.
Harvested from Bavarian meadows in southern Germany, the plants are coarsely chopped and dried before being pressed into chunky pellets. This process preserves the natural nutritional profile while creating a convenient, low-waste feeding option.
When soaked, the cobs expand into a soft, natural feed that closely mimics the structure of wild grazing material, supporting healthy digestion and natural feeding behaviour.
Feeding Guide
Soak before feeding using at least 2 parts water to 1 part cobs
Allow pellets to fully expand and soften before offering
Can be mixed with fresh leafy greens for a varied diet
Adjust water content to increase hydration if required
