Zoo Med’s Cricket Block is an easy to use Calcium-based block that helps gut-load crickets prior to feeding to your animals. Designed to boost the nutritional content of crickets, this handy block provides a nutrient-dense food high in calcium. Anything inside the crickets will inevitably end up inside your lizard, so loading the insects with essential nutrients, improves the meal offered and enhances the overall health of reptiles.
Simply place the block in the cricket enclosure, where the crickets will naturally consume it. For best results, allow crickets to eat Cricket Gutload Block for one to two days before feeding them to your reptiles. Use in conjunction with a safe source of water, such as Komodo Beastie Drink, which we also have available, to provide a drink, as well as fresh vegetables such as carrots or sweet potato, and replace as required.
