Snake mites are a common and persistent issue in reptile keeping, particularly within larger collections. Vapona provides a powerful solution by releasing an insecticidal vapour that eliminates mites within the enclosure environment, including newly hatched individuals.

Once opened, the strip reacts with air to release a controlled insecticidal vapour, creating an environment that prevents mites from surviving or reproducing. Its long-lasting action helps break the mite life cycle, making it particularly effective for more severe or ongoing infestations.

How to Use
For mite treatment, cut a small section of the strip (approximately 1cm cube per 60cm³ of enclosure volume) and place it inside a ventilated container within the enclosure.

It is essential that the reptile cannot come into direct contact with the Vapona strip. The container should allow airflow while preventing physical contact.

For best results:
• Bathe the animal prior to treatment to remove visible mites
• Remove natural décor and switch to paper-based substrate
• Minimise hiding places to improve treatment effectiveness

Leave in place for up to 90 days, then remove once the treatment period is complete.
