About

I have been keeping and breeding ball pythons along with other snakes my entire life…

I’m extremely lucky in that I was born into the reptile world quite literally, as my parents, D & Jo’s Pythons were breeding and keeping ball pythons along with a whole array of other snakes and reptiles long before I was born, and as a very young child I was surrounded by these amazing reptiles.

I was joining in with caring and loving these animals from as soon as I could walk and talk. I’ve been hooked on this hobby my whole life and my passion and knowledge has only grown as I have grown!

forever growing and evolving.

I started with my own small collection of ball pythons and other snakes in 2007 at the age of 18, and over the years I became more focused on ball pythons simply because they are amazing – the different morphs, the genetics, their nature and their jaw dropping beauty which just has me in complete awe of them. I now have around 250 ball pythons in my collection, which is forever growing and evolving.

The deeper I immerse myself into the hobby/lifestyle, the more my addiction to it increases! In 2014 I decided to dedicate much more of my time, energy and money (haha) into the hobby and as a result, Living Art Ball Pythons was born. I pride myself on producing quality morphs, for my own collection and future breeding projects, offering any surplus for sale.

the first female in the UK to be awarded with the Python Personality of the Year

In 2017, I became the first female and the second person in the UK to be awarded with the Python Personality of the Year award from the Reptile Report. I was awarded with the Reader’s Choice award and Justin Kobylka received the Editors Choice Award. I was extremely humbled and grateful to receive this international award which to my knowledge was the last award of its kind.

we are a registered and trademarked business

I am eternally grateful for how this hobby has enriched my life and enjoy sharing this passion with others. I have been able to meet amazing people through this hobby from 1st time snake keepers purchasing their first baby from me, to established breeders all over the world! I am always happy to talk snakes, answer questions and share my knowledge with others so please feel free to contact me.

I am extremely lucky in that since the start of 2019 I became a registered and trademarked business enabling me to do what I love full time! I also started a range of Reptile Products at that time which has continued to grow, and new products are continuously added to my website. I am always happy to hear suggestions on what other products you would like to see available so please get in touch!

About
custom built Breeding Facility

In 2021 I had a custom built Breeding Facility added onto my property to enable me to have more space to expand my collection and be able to invite customers and visitors in to see my collection.

I am a member of the International Herpetological Society (IHS) and have been for over ten years. I attend all of their breeder meetings/shows and have my own tables at each show. The IHS holds four shows a year, as I am a business I unfortunately cannot take my Ball Pythons there for sale, I do however attend with all of my available products. You can find out their upcoming meeting/show dates on their website IHS Breeder Meetings / Shows (ihs-web.org.uk)
