Habistat Mat Thermostat:
The Habistat Mat Stat is an on/off thermostat that is ideal for controlling the temperature of Heat Mats and other low powered heaters up to a maximum load of 300 watts. Range of 18 – 34⁰C (64 – 92⁰F).
When switched on the power indicator light will shine and when the heat source is switched on the heat indicator will shine.
Please note this thermostat is not suitable for controlling light bulbs. The constant turning on and off of the light bulb would not only distress your animals but would cause frequent failure of the lamps. This, in turn, is very likely to make your thermostat fail. For light emitting heat sources use a Habistat Dimming Thermostat.

Habistat Pulse Thermostat
The Habistat Pulse Thermostat is ideal for controlling higher power ceramic heaters and for heat mats up to a maximum load of 600 Watts. Ideal for controlling hot spots (High Range). Range of 18 – 32°C (18 – 90°F) Standard, 26 – 40°C (79 – 104°F) High Range
A normal thermostat switches a heater on full power until the set temperature is achieved. It then switches the heater off completely until the temperature drops below the set value, when the cycle starts over again.
The gap between the heater being switched on and then off is called hysteresis. It is between these points that the accuracy of the controller is assessed.
The pulse proportional thermostat pulses electricity to the heater all the time, resulting in constant and very accurately managed warmth.

Habistat Dimming Thermostat
The sophisticated Habistat Dimming Thermostat is designed specifically for controlling light bulbs.
The Dimming Thermostat is one of the most accurate methods of temperature control and whilst it is perfect for controlling light bulbs, it can be used on almost any heaters.
Unlike other Habistat Thermostats, it does require a minimum load of 40 watts, but has a maximum capacity of 600 watts at 230 volts. Range of 16 – 34°C (61 – 93°F) Standard, 26 – 40°C (29 – 104°F) High Range.
We only recommend this thermostat for use with incandescent light bulbs. It uses the latest technology and operates in a manner similar to the Pulse Proportional Thermostat.
Instead of pulses of power being supplied to the heater, it is supplied with a continuous variable supply of power or voltage. In principle this has a similar effect to light dimmers or rheostats in your home.

Habistat Digital Dimming Thermostat
Habistat Digital Dimming Thermostat Day/Night Timer, 600 Watt is suitable for most heaters and will provide a continual temperature rather than a hot/cold cycle. Range of 0 – 50⁰C (32 – 122⁰F).
Separate setting of daytime temperature and night time temperature. Continual readout of current temperature and time.
Revolutionary Power Meter continually indicates % of power at the heater. Coloured Icon flashes to indicate function presently in use.
Separate timed circuit to turn separate heaters, lighting fans or spray systems on twice and off twice in a 24 hour period.
Waterproof, 3 metre long, low voltage sensor.
Adjustable alarm function to give visual and audible warning when temperature goes above or below set temperature parameters. Alarm can be disabled if not required.
Both upper and lower temperature limits can be set.
Comes with preset parameters, so can just be plugged in and used if required. Will not loose memory settings if power is disconnected.
