HabiStat Crested Gecko Diet has no artificial colourings, flavourings, added preservatives or fillers. It includes over 50% real fruit and 9 Key protein sources. Developed for Crested Geckos, it can also be used other Fruit and insect eating reptiles, including many Gecko species as well as, Anolis, Lacertids, Skinks and Iguanids.
Many reptiles are opportunistic feeders and even those we think of as being mainly insectivorous will also eat animal, fruit and vegetable matter. It is important to provide a varied, balanced diet in captivity to ensure animals receive the optimum nutrients required. Therefore it is worth trying new food intermittently with your animals to see what they prefer, it is also a good form of enrichment.

This diet is nutritious enough to make up the bulk of the animals diet but it is always recommended to feed fresh, gut-loaded live food as well. Scientific studies have shown that the natural diet of Crested geckos contains lots of insects, and so they should always be offered. Hunting for bugs also allows your gecko with enrichment and to use natural behaviours.
Use 5g of powder once or twice a week as part of a predominantly insect-based varied diet. Add water and mix into a soft ketchup like consistency. Remove after 24 hours.
Store in a cool, dry place. Dry powder will soil if allowed to become wet.
